Voice and Swallowing Disorders

The Larynx (voice box) is an incredibly intricate structure.  Our specialists have a unique understanding of your larynx and treat all disorders of your voice.  Acid reflux, allergies, high vocal demand (teachers, coaches, Moms with young children) can lead to disorders of speech and damage to your vocal cords.  We also treat the professional voice and singers.

Dysphagia (difficulty swallowing) is a very common problem which often worsens with age.  It can be caused by tumors, strictures (narrowing of the swallow tube), stroke, acid reflux, and other systemic diseases that adversely affect the esophagus.  We work with your Primary Care Provider, Speech Therapists and often your Gastroenterologist to develop treatment plans to improve your ability to swallow.
