VivAer is a minimally invasive treatment designed to improve nasal breathing by addressing areas of narrowing within the nasal airway. Using gentle, low-temperature radiofrequency energy, VivAer reshapes the nasal tissues to open the airway and improve airflow. The procedure is performed in the office using local anesthesia. No incisions are required, and most patients can quickly return to their normal daily activities.

VivAer uses low-temperature radiofrequency energy to gently reshape and firm the tissue at the nasal valve, the narrowest point in the nasal airway, improving airflow without incisions. A small handheld device is placed inside the nostril and used to deliver controlled radiofrequency energy to targeted areas of the nasal airway. This energy gently remodels and strengthens the tissue, widening the nasal passage and improving airflow without incisions. Although VivAer and RhinAer use similar technology, VivAer treats structural nasal obstruction, while RhinAer targets the nerve signals associated with chronic rhinitis.
