The audiologist programs each hearing aid using the patient’s audiogram and listening needs, then evaluates fit, comfort and sound quality. The patient receives hands-on instruction for daily use, maintenance and device features, followed by scheduled adjustments as the brain and ears adapt to amplified sound.
